2009 Marathon winner, and Isle of Man Championship winner, Ben Scott has the trophies presented by David Salter of Salclear (event sponsor):

Nikki was also one of the top 3 finishing members from Northern AC, who won the Team prize in the marathon:-

Number 1, literally! Ben Scott (Western AC) won the Salclear Isle of Man Marathon in 2:56:10, also winning the Isle of Man Championship.
First Lady was Rebecca Johnson (Bellahouston RR) in 3:09:40 (9th overall), she was also the winner of the womens marathon here last year when she set the course record for ladies (3:08:28). Rebecca is pictured below, by Murray Lambden, as she ran past another one of his many cameras!

Northern AC members running together early in the race. Thomas Melvin (6) finished 6th overall in 3:07:59, & 3rd in IOM Championship. Richard Radcliffe (7) was 11th overall (10th man), 3:12:19, & 4th in Championship. Kevin Deakes (20) came in 21st overall (18th man), 3:23:43. Club colleague Nikki Boyde (pictured below (4) alongside Northern AC's Richard Fletcher (22)) finished 2nd woman, 13th overall, & 1st lady in the IOM Championship with a time of 3:16:14. The cumulative time for Nikki, Tom & Richard made Northern AC the 1st placed team.
